Channel Eleven

A couple of months ago I was informed that the television station Utah Eleven will be going through a rebranding, and that my name was in the hat for composers being considered to do the new music. Sam Gray, a contributer on Typophile 4, and art director for the Utah Eleven rebranding project, told me this, and also told me about the stiff competition I was up against (one of which is an Emmy award winning composer). About a week ago I learned that it was down to two people: me and Peter Breinholt. So I wrote this piece to sort of stick my nose ahead in the race, as it were. I suppose it worked, because they gave me the job.

Woo hoo! Congratulations! And also, it was far more enjoyable to watch the typophile4 project than Peter's little clip. Blegh!

That's great man! Congratulations. I feel like quoting Gene Wilder Willy Wonka to ya, but it's kind of sappy so I won't. Keep living the dream!
